EB2/3 India - Prediction Tool - BETA
Calculation Notes
- Where the numbers come from: We use the latest USCIS pending-inventory data by visa category, year, and month.
- Your place in line: We add up all pending cases ahead of you—from the oldest until your chosen month and year, in first-in, first-out order.
- Removing duplicates: For EB2/EB3, you can drop 20% or 30% of cases to account for people who filed more than once.
- Porting to EB1: Optionally remove another 0% or 5% of EB2/EB3 cases that might move into EB1.
- Adding spillover visas: Choose to add 2,000 (minor) or 4,000 (moderate) extra visas to the regular annual cap of 2,800.
- Visas per month: We divide the total yearly visas (2,800 + your spillover choice) by 12.
- Time window: We count how many months remain from today until October 1, 2025, and multiply by the monthly rate to see how many visas will be issued by then.
- Are you current by Oct 2025?
- If the adjusted cases ahead of you fit in that window, your date is current in October 2025.
- If not, we subtract those visas and calculate how many more months are needed at the monthly rate.
- Special cases: EB2 January 2013 and EB3 April–June 2013 are already current by September 2025.
